Trends for Name Change Sales -- Almost 60% of our customers purchase the Self-help products, while the others (a little more than 40%) take advantage of the Prep and Proof services. Less than 5% of all orders have been cancelled. (Current through end of Oct 2008)
Charitable Donations -- For 2008, more than 5% of our total sales revenue was donated among certain valuable charities. (That's from our total sales revenue -- not "income net of refunds", "profit", "proceeds", or any other "adjusted" or reduced figure. At least five cents of every dollar we received was donated, completely regardless of refunds or company expenses.)
For 2009, we've pledged to donate more than 6%. (And we hope to increase this percentage again in the future.)
Low Prices for Name Changes --There are a few on-line companies which offer quality name change products and services. The ones often claiming to be "industry leaders" or "national experts" have prices from $30 to $130.
O ffering the same top quality, our prices range from $15 to $50 (that's usually a savings of about 30 - 60% over the "major" competitors). Check them out and see for yourself.
Turns out that most of those other companies are owned and operated by lawyers. There's probably a connection. We thought the idea of "self-help" was to avoid the cost of a lawyer...
